Annual Meeting

Customarily the Friend’s Annual Meeting is held during National Library Week. In the past the Friends have enjoyed a delicious dinner and a variety of programs and speakers. Other programs throughout the year, open to the public, have included evenings with authors, speakers, and panel discussions on local history,

Advocacy With Legislators

Volunteers from the Friends advocate with state and local legislators to ensure that the vital role of local libraries is emphasized, particularly during annual budget hearings and meetings when funding for libraries is threatened.
