Using this form, you can have brief questions answered, or get suggestions on sources and locations that may help you find answers. The Reference email is checked twice daily. If you need a quick response, please call the libraryâ€Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾ÃƒÃ¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¢s Reference Department.

 Types of questions we can answer by email:

  • Obituary search with exact date of death.  If exact date isnâ€Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾ÃƒÃ¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¢t known, please be aware that additional time for an answer will be necessary. The more information you can provide, the better chance weâ€Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾ÃƒÃ¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¢ll be able to find what youâ€Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾ÃƒÃ¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¢re looking for.
     

  • Brief, factual questions, such as the source of a quotation, contact information for a company or person, a historical fact or date, etc.

           

Types of questions we can NOT  answer by email:

  • Legal, medical or tax questions.
     

  • Requests for lengthy research.
     

  • Trivia questions.
     

  • Queries about whether or not we have a particular item in our collection. You can use the card catalog from your home computer or give the Reference Department a call. Our staff will be glad to help you.
