TUSCARAWAS COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER 2025 One Book, One Community Local History & Genealogy Faire Homeschoolers’ Club Fall Festivities & Holiday Fun!
2 ] www.tusclibrary.org Director’s Notes Each September, the Tuscarawas County Public Library System celebrates Library Card Sign-Up Month and the endless possibilities a single library card holds. For students, a library card is a key to academic success. For adults, a library card is a gateway to lifelong learning. Whether you’re diving into a new hobby, searching for your next great read, brushing up on tech skills, or helping your child succeed in school – it all starts with a library card. I remember getting my first library card. It was the summer I was eight, and I wanted to teach my dog how to do tricks. My brother took me to the library – the same library where I work today. The librarian showed me how to use the card catalog to find out where the dog trick books were shelved. I checked out two books with my new library card. My dog learned some neat tricks that summer, and I learned the value of my library and my library card! Getting a library card is free and easy. Stop by any Tuscarawas County Public Library location or visit us at tusclibrary.org to sign up for your card. With a Tuscarawas County Public Library card, the possibilities are truly endless.
