Programs & Serv ices TUSCARAWAS COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM JANUARY - MAY 2022

2 ] www.tusclibrary.org Director’s Notes The start of a new year is here again. It’s not lost on any of us that this spring will mark the second anniversary of the pandemic’s impact on our lives, our schools, our businesses, and our libraries. We all need to pause and pat ourselves on the back for our perseverance in moving forward during these challenging times. Here at your library, we look forward to continuing to find new and exciting ways to serve you in 2022. We continue to offer traditional library services like books, movies, eBooks, and in-person and virtual programs, but the pandemic highlighted the need in our community for access to the internet. Throughout the last year, we have been busy adding Wi-Fi Access Points across the county in rural areas and parks. Currently, free Wi-Fi is available at Baltic Elementary School Bus Garage, Belden Community Park in Port Washington, Roy Parks Memorial Park in Bolivar, Cherry Ridge Park in Sugarcreek, Midvale Community Park, Tusky Dugout in Tuscarawas, Southside Community Park Pollinator Garden in New Philadelphia, Strasburg Village Hall, World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock in Sugarcreek, and inside and outside all five TCPL locations. In addition to these access points, TCPL also offers 80 Wi-Fi hotspots that can be checked out to library customers for two weeks at a time for use at home. As we look towards 2022 with cautious optimism, know that no matter what the new year brings, your TCPL will be here for you.
