2 ] www.tusclibrary.org Director’s Notes It’s a new year and the possibilities are abundant at your Library. This Winter-Spring edition of our Between the Lines newsletter outlines programs and services our library system will offer this January through May. We are excited to engage with you at our five locations and out in the community. Being responsive to what our customers need and want from their library is important to us. You helped us in these efforts by responding to the community survey, which we included in the fall edition of Between the Lines. Thank you for sharing your concerns, thoughts, and ideas with us. We are working with strategic planning consultants to tabulate and decipher your responses. Your insights and suggestions will guide our staff and Board of Trustees in creating a plan to outline our library system’s strategic efforts for the next few years. We look forward to sharing this outline with you soon. Sharing and communicating with our customers is important to us. You can help us communicate with you by making sure your library account is associated with a current and accurate email address. You can check your email address at any of our library service desks. Your privacy is important to us, and we will never share your email address with a third party. We will communicate timely information with you via email, like when materials are available for you to pick up and when your library card needs to be renewed. We will also share relevant library news and links with you each month. We value you – our customers. We look forward to staying engaged with you throughout 2023! Sincerely, Michelle McMorrow Ramsell DISCOVER IN THIS ISSUE FEATURED EVENTS: Genealogy ........................................... 9 2023 Reading Challenge .................. 13 Pop-Up Libraries ................................. 15 PROGRAMMING: Adults ................................................. 4-8 Technology ................................... 10-11 Book Clubs and Discussions ......... 12-13 Mobile Services .................................. 14 Teens .............................................. 16-17 Family Fun ........................................... 18 Animal Encounters ............................. 19 School-Age ................................... 20-21 Homeschooler’s Club ....................... 21 Early Learning ................................ 22-23 Strasburg Branch 356 5th Street SW Strasburg, OH 44680 330-878-5711 Monday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Thursday 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Saturday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Sugarcreek Branch 120 South Broadway Sugarcreek, OH 44681 330-852-2813 Monday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Thursday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Friday 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Saturday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Tuscarawas Branch 209 South Main Street Tuscarawas, OH 44682 740-922-2748 Monday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Thursday 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Saturday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Mobile Services 121 Fair Avenue NW New Philadelphia, OH 44663 330-364-4474 ext. 250 All locations will be closed: • January 2nd • February 20th • May 29th Main Library 121 Fair Avenue NW New Philadelphia, OH 44663 330-364-4474 Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM Friday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Bolivar Branch 455 West Water Street Bolivar, OH 44612 330-874-2720 Monday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Thursday 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM 3 Saturday, April 15th Registration at 9:00 AM Race at 10:00 AM Retro Run Tuscarawas County Public Library System's We want to see you in your grooviest gear!
