TUSCARAWAS COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM JUNE - AUGUST 2025 SUMMER READING REGISTER • READ • WIN Camps for Kids Art Supply Drive Bookmobile Stops Garden Tour Fundraiser
The Bookmobile is headed your way! 2 ] www.tusclibrary.org Director’s Notes Your Library card is a perfect way to escape the mundane and choose to Color Our World with opportunity this summer. From the time we are schoolkids, summer is a much-anticipated time for enjoyment and escape. No matter our age, summer provides the time and freedom to get lost learning something new, to lose yourself in a good book, or to experiment with a new hobby. Your TCPL Library is here to help you have a summer of fun and opportunity! This summer, whether you and your family are vacationing or staycationing; exploring history or crochet; delving into genealogy or creative writing; learning something new about kangaroos or art; or investigating the latest in MakerSpace crafts or technology – Your TCPL Library has programs, books, digital materials, museum passes, and kits perfect for you and your family. Summer provides us with the time to connect with people, and the Library provides the opportunity to do just that. Summer reading is a wonderful time to meet new friends at a book club, a storytime, a summer camp, an art or craft class, a technology class, or a special event like Fan Fest. For our students, summer reading goes beyond fun and connection. Summer reading provides opportunities for students. Continuing to read and be engaged in active learning over the summer months can reduce summer learning loss and help students be prepared to return to school in the fall. Join us at the TCPL this summer as we choose to Color Our World with opportunity. Everyone is welcome, and we look forward to seeing you!
