Children's Programming Highlight: Virtual Author Visit

Author Amy Tiktin Campbell will be visiting us via Skype to share her story and the story of Bing. Bing was a dog that was adopted by soldiers in World War I. After the war, he came home to Dennison and lived out his life in our area. Amy decided to share his story in her book, Bing: World War I Dog Hero,
This event is for school-aged children and their families. We will have activities, and refreshments will be served after the virtual author visit.

Children's Programming Highlight: Amazing Architecture

Amazing Architecture is a fun and interactive program for children going into grades 3-6 that incorporates technology as well as information about buildings all over the world. Children will have the opportunity to use iPads to scan QR codes that will be placed all around the library, scavenger-hunt style. The QR codes will hold pictures and information about architecture through the ages. Children will decode clues to help them find the next QR code and the next piece of the puzzle of the scavenger hunt.
