Llama Llama Storytimes

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System has partnered with the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas to offer local families the opportunity to win tickets to an upcoming show.

“Starting at the end of January, all five locations of the County Library will be hosting special Llama, Llama themed events,” said Library Director Michelle McMorrow Ramsell. “Families that attend one of these programs will be entered to win a family pack of tickets to Llama, Llama LIVE that will take place on March 14th at the PAC.”

According to David Mitchell, General Manager of the Performing Arts Center, the show is based off of the popular Llama, Llama book series by Anna Dewdney. Accompanying the books is a television show on Netflix and the traveling live show.

“As if the chance of winning tickets to the PAC wasn’t exciting enough, we have also been able to get some exciting guest to stop in during the Library programs to help read a story,” Said McMorrow Ramsell. “We think kids and parents are going to really enjoy getting to interact with New Philadelphia’s Mayor Joel Day, Sheriff Orvis Campbell, and other local first-responders.”
