Print materials, music CDs and audio books may be checked out for two weeks, Movies, games, hand-held, and consoles circulate for one week.
Digital materials (including eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, comics, music, movies, and tv shows) may also be downloaded for free through Ohio Digital Library, Hoopla, and Flipster and do not accrue fines.
The library does not limit the number of items that may be checked out. TCPL users must maintain a balance of less than $25 in fees to remain in good standing and continue to utilize library services.
Holds and Renewals
TCPL is a member of the SEO(Serving Every Ohioan) Library Consortium, a system with nearly two-hundred public libraries.
Holds on materials owned by TCPL and other SEO libraries may be placed from any computer in the library, your home computer, at the public service desk, smartphone or by telephone. Anyone with a TCPL library card may place or have on hold up to 50 items at one time.
To receive notices when your holds are available or when items are due by e-mail or text message please register your e-mail address/phone number with a staff member at the service desk. Please note that TCPL does not mail or make phone calls for hold/overdue notices.
You may renew items online or by calling any TCPL location. Four renewals are available on most items unless they are on hold for someone else. (Hand-held and console games may not be renewed.)
Charges and Fees:
The Library reserves the right to restrict the borrowing privileges of any person who has overdue materials and/or accumulated fines and charges.

- Overdue Telescope: $1.00/Day
Outgoing and incoming fax services are free.
