4th Sustainable Living Faire Seeks Vendors and Speakers

Do you have a passion for sustainable living? Would you like to share your experience in homesteading, clean products, gardening, pollinators, recycling, farming, or more?

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System is seeking participants for its 4th Annual Sustainable Living Faire, which will be held at its Main Library & Operations Center on February 27th, 2027 from 10:00AM – 3:00PM.

“This event has grown in popularity since its debut in 2024,” said Support Services Manager Cara Randall. “Each year brings new topics so there is always something new to learn and see.”

Those interested in showcasing their sustainability skills or interests with a vendor table or 30-minute class should contact the library at 330-364-4474 ext. 221 or email tcplevents@tusclibrary.org to receive a participant form to complete and return by Friday, September 11, 2026. Committee members will review the forms submitted and reach out to confirm acceptance by Thursday, October 15th.

“The event may be months away, but vendor and classroom spots fill up quickly,” said Library Director Michelle McMorrow Ramsell.

The Sustainable Living Faire has featured a variety of programs and vendors the past three years, ranging from curing meat, goat milk soap, sourdough breadmaking, herbs, gardening, backyard habitats, mushroom inoculation, recycling, and more. The event offers participants a free opportunity to showcase their business or topic at a vendor table and/or to present a 30-min breakout class or demonstration.

Ramsell said in addition to vendor tables and speakers, the planning committee has openings for event sponsors. Sponsor names and logos will be featured on all promotional materials. Those interested in learning more about sponsorship opportunities can email Ramsell at mramsell@tusclibrary.org

The Tuscarawas County Public Library’s Main Library & Operations Center is located at 121 Fair Ave NW New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
