Music and Wellness

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System is hosting music therapist Josie McCutcheon, MT-BC, CDP at the Sugarcreek Branch on Tuesday, July 15th at 6:00 PM to discuss the health benefits of music and how to incorporate it into your life.
“Many of us already enjoy listening to some kind of music, so learning how we can utilize it to meet our health and wellness goals only makes it that much more enjoyable,” says Sugarcreek Branch Supervisor Laura Russell.
Russell says the program will also give participants the opportunity to build their own playlist. She hopes that the program will bring awareness to music therapy so people can use it in their lives.
“I think music therapy is a field that isn't well known or understood but it can be vital in the care of ourselves or someone we care for,” says Russell.
The Sugarcreek Branch is located at 120 South Broadway in Sugarcreek. To sign up for this program, visit our event calendar or call the Sugarcreek Branch at 330-852-2813.
