Have you heard about the streetcars that provided transportation throughout the County? The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host retired journalist Jon Baker to discuss forgotten streetcars in Tuscarawas County at the Main Library on Tuesday, November 3rd at 6:00PM.
“History programs are a big interest in the community already and it's important to keep history alive,” says Customer Service Assistant Whitney Lawrence. “We hear questions about the streetcars that were part of our county’s past and are sure the public will enjoy learning more about them.”
This program is free to attend, but registration is required and can be done on the library’s online event calendar at tusclibrary.org or by calling 330-364-4474. The Main Library is located at 121 Fair Ave NW in New Philadelphia.
