Schoenbrunn Village: John Valentine Haidt

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host the next program in its America 250 program series at its Bolivar Branch on Tuesday, April 28th at 6:00 PM.
This latest installment focuses on the story of Moravian painter John Valetin Haidt whose paintings are displayed in Schoenbrunn Village.
“His paintings served as religious illustrations for both the Lenape Indians and today’s visitors,” says Courtney Wallace, Bolivar Branch Supervisor. “As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, and Haidt’s artwork brought to life the stories the Moravians sought to share with the Lenape people."
The program is free to attend, but registration is required. You can sign up at the event calendar or by calling 330-874-2720.
The Bolivar Branch is located at 455 West Water Street, Bolivar.
