The Tuscarawas County Public Library System wants to know “What’s in Your Attic?”
Now through November 10th, the library system will be seeking original County Library memorabilia, including photos, library cards, and book checkout cards. Items can be from any of the library system’s five locations, including the Main Library in New Philadelphia, Bolivar, Strasburg, Sugarcreek, and Tuscarawas branches, or its bookmobile.
“With the upcoming 125th Anniversary, we are eager to find pieces of our library history that we do not have in our collection,” said Public Relations Associate Megan Kovalaske-Grimm.
The library system is interested in finding photographs from each of its branches through the Main Library’s renovation in 2019 as well as old library cards. According to Kovalaske-Grimm, the items collected will be used, with other library artifacts, in a display at the library.
To have an item considered for donation, please contact the County Library’s Public Relations Office at 330-364-4474 ext. 221 or by email.
