As part of its ongoing America 250 programs, the Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host a reenactment of Abraham Lincoln’s 1863 delivery of the Gettysburg Address at the Tusky Branch on Thursday, November 19th at 6:30 PM.
“Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address continues to speak to each generation of Americans,” said Tusky Branch Supervisor Jade Boffo. “This program invites visitors not only to remember history, but to also step inside it and reflect on the ideals of freedom, equality, and self-government that remain vital today.”
This program is free to attend, but registration is required. Register at the library’s online event calendar or call the Tusky Branch at 740-922-2748. The Tusky Branch is located at 209 South Main Street in the Village of Tuscarawas.
