The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host Marine Corps veteran and retired Washington D.C. Police Officer, Richard Vickers Jr. for a discussion on the local Marine Corps League and the launch of Tuscarawas County’s new Young Marines program on Thursday, November 12th at 6:00PM at the Strasburg Branch.
“I know many people who would love to learn about ways to give back to local military and veterans groups but are unsure of how to do so,” says Strasburg Customer Service Assistant Katie Vickers.
Vickers notes that this event will help others learn about how to support veterans and their mission in our community and highlight their yearly projects and work.
