Internet Safety Course for Kids

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host an Internet Safety program for school-age kids in grades 2-5 each evening at the Main Library from June 22nd to June 26th at 6:00 PM.
“The program was curated through a collaboration of Google and Highlights with the goal of making children safer in this digital age,” said Children’s Services Manager Mary Smrek.
Each evening, this fun and informative program will focus on a different way to be internet safe by being smart, strong, kind, and brave.
Smrek said the Internet Safety Program is made possible through a grant the Ohio Library Council received, which enabled Libraries to reach students with this important informational content.
To sign up for this program, visit the library's online event calendar or call 330-364-4474. The Main Library is located at 121 Fair Ave. NW New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
