The Tuscarawas County Public Library System is now showing Connie Wahl’s extensive handmade jewelry collection and her son Joshua’s artwork in the lower gallery of the Main Library.
“We rotate different artists’ work in this gallery space, giving an opportunity to showcase the wonderful artistry of Tuscarawas County residents,” says Public Relations Associate Megan Kovalaske-Grimm.
Connie Wahl learned how to make lampwork beads in 2010 and even learned the Japanese art of kumihimo, which is a type of weaving. You can follow Wahl’s available work on the Facebook page conniedesignworks.
Joshua’s work is also available for viewing at the Main Library, featuring framed paintings of animals, nature, and more.
